Well if all the people who signed up for the cause put a few quid into the kitty then hey ho that would ruffle a few feathers. But how many people who keep banging on about saving the zoo would be prepared to to put some cash in. So I will start here. Names and contributions. Let's see who's up for it I agree with what you say about the same people week in and week out coming on hear saying they are trying to save the zoo but never mention putting their hand in their pocket to save it just like you because you've never said how much your prepared to put in the pot to save the zoo but you or condemning other people for doing the same has you,,, hypercritic comes to mind so I john carney will put Β£2000 in as long as every thing is above board and done correctly with a solicitor involved and over seeing the process ,,,,,, now match it or as the old saying goes,,,, put up or shut up

'IF' Simon Walmsley and the 'Friends Of Belle Vue' are ever in a position where cash needs to be raised to try and get greyhound racing staged back at the ZOO then I'm sure they will make it known.
It's a fine pledge by you 'kingfisher' but at this time nothing is being asked for by the people who trying day and night in an effort to save our old stadium from the bulldozers.

My hope is that the Friends Of Belle Vue can at first find a buyer for the stadium and then a buy a brick scheme could be launched in order for the general public to become involved or even a share scheme in time.
The trouble is the stadium has closed and by all accounts it has been ripped apart by 'ARC'
It's going to take a massive effort by a lot of people for greyhound racing to return down a the ZOO i think we all no that. But like BVOF member manseefan always says you never no someone out there may win the lottery and come to our rescue.
In the meantime it's a matter of wait and see I'm sure Simon will inform us all in time one way or the other.

Kingfisher being a business man myself I will match urs no problem but as u say everything has to be above board legally and we get shares, percentage wise according to our in put. So all we need now is a few thousand people to match ours and were well on the way. The zoo could and should be a profitable run business with the right people in charge but as you know the previous management over last 10 years have ran it into the ground. I use to love a Saturday night in the restaurant even though my dogs was running at Sunderland. It was a great night out. But to be honest I dont think this is ever going to happen because not enough people are prepared to take the gamble. Lifes a gamble
