So 'ARC' only owned the lease of the Belle Vue Stadium and now we have been informed they have pulled the plug and stopped greyhound racing.
Well then what happens next they {ARC} must own the fixtures and fittings at the stadium does anybody know if they have removed anything from the site as yet ?
Plus have 'ARC' been told yet to vacate the site by the owners Crown Oils ?

EVERYTHING ABOUT THE CLOSURE and no one to put any money into the savior scheme, although they say only 3.7 million.which to some corporations is chickenfeed.then why has it not been snapped up. there have to be some other reasons why no buyers. or why it's been left. the full story hasnot/isn't being told. how can anyone consider a punt without the full facts? like for instance fixtures and fittings. there is much more to this story than has been disclosed.

I still cant understand why none of the BIG book makers have not snapped it up for 3.7 million which is loose change to them,,,,,, and what about Fred Done of Betfred he's Manchester born and he's shown no interest in buying the place.

Because fred is a a very successfully business man and if William hills couldn't make it pay when they had a shop inside downstairs many years ago why would a man worth 650 million want to mess about with something like that. Its already been stated before that you need bums on seats to make money at belle vue as has been proved in the past but with the present covid rules it will be a long time before theres any bums on seats in the restaurant, bar etc. Theres no money to be made in an empty greyhound stadium full stop. No income coming in but big wages going out.

Fred Done (born March 1943) is a British billionaire businessman, the co owner with his brother Peter Done of the bookmaking chain Betfred, which has more than 1,350 betting shops in the United Kingdom.[1] In February 2015, it was announced Fred Done was in talks to sell a 25% stake in the Tote.[2] In April 2015, The Sunday Times estimated the brothers' joint net worth at £1.0 billion.[

There are only 4 tracks around the country that are owned by Bookmakers Monmore, Hove, Crayford, Romford all under the control of Ladbrokes / Corals
'IF' greyhounds tracks were worth buying by bookmakers then how come the likes of BET365 have not got involved by now?
With the reference being made above to BETFRED these days the Done brothers are major property investors {SALBOY} here in the North West and by the sounds of things i can't see there is any need for them to be buying any greyhound tracks.
Even when Belle Vue was open BETFRED did not cover Belle Vue in there shops when the media war kicked off a few years back.
The clocking is ticking now very fast and to be honest i think greyhound racing in the Manchester area is well and truly dead and buried thanks to 'ARC' and before them the good old GRA.
