This greyhound is expensive to follow he's come down from A4, A6 now and should be winning, he was knocking on the door in A5, gets beat a neck last week and last night I thought he was disappointing Expensive to follow indeed at silly prices as well - couldn’t agree more. After watching the video from Saturday again, I think disappointing is a bit harsh on him to be honest - more frustrating. At the end of the day winning is a bonus - as long as he keeps safe and sound that is what really matters. Hope your new additions continue to improve for you - you can’t beat the 40% for getting such a great interest for what is, in essence, such a small outlay! |

Again, a decent run by Mark to be beaten a length and he tries so hard - just really frustrating he can't get this head in front. He seems to have lost altogether his pace between 2 and 3 which is leaving him a fair bit to do coming home. Also think he's better from trap 6 personally - but he came out that slow today it really wouldn't have made a difference! Main thing as always is that he has come off OK.

So, so pleased to see Mark get his head in front today and get the long overdue win his efforts deserve - winning by 2 lengths in a calculated 28.67. Must admit to being a bit worried round the second bend again but he ran a really strong third bend to pick up the leader off the last. Well done Mark - can't tell you how chuft I am! Thanks to Norma for the lovely post and to Hayley2992 for posting the race up for us to watch - and never forgetting thanks to Dave for the 40% opportunity and Bev for all she does every day with Mark and the rest of her kennel  |
