Long time since I've posted, but had to tonight. We have a home bred pup Wolf Moon reach the final of the Puppy Classic next week, just seems like a dream. Would be lovely for him to follow in the foot steps of Nigel's Blue Trooper, but home safe and sound is the main thing. The Zoo maybe gone,but she still lives on through those who ran there 😁

DISTANT PODGE made it three wins from a career of just three starts as Barrie Draper’s dog remained unbeaten in the JenningsBet Puppy Classic over 500m at Nottingham on Monday.
He led at the first bend to beat Wolf Moon by six lengths in a fastest of the night 29.78sec
Also unbeaten in the event is local trainer Barry Denby’s Bellmore Cricket. He was crowded and kicked clear at the first bend for a three lengths win over Crystal Cardi in 29.98sec - she recently ran second in the Angel of the North final for Ben Reynolds at Newcastle.
The second semi saw a 10-1 turn-up as Jimmy Fenwick’s Lightfoot Clark came through to catch leader Master Copy by just under two lengths in 30.27sec.
Desperately unlucky here was Droopys Latest. She was clobbered at the bend when bouncing off Lightfoot Clark but rallied gamely and only missed out on the final by a head. She remains one to watch.
