Bookmaker Ian Gartside has sadly passed away .
Ian was not everybody's cup of tea but he would take your bets up at the old Oldham Greyhound track.
Also news has reach me this week that Sarah Radcliffe has passed away.
Sarah had plenty of greyhounds on the flaps over the years in the
North West and of late she had runners up at Askern.
It's a sign of getting old when you keep hearing about Greyhound folk from the past
that are no longer with us but that's life i suppose.
.....May they both now rest in peace.....
