Some shocking news this evening I have been informed Dave Heaton has passed away.
Condolences to Beverly and the rest of the Heaton family at this very sad time.
May you now rest in peace old friend JR.

Absolutely gutted to read this, known him as a good friend for nearly 50 years from our Oldham days. One of the funniest blokes you could wish to meet. He was mad for entertainment and mad for karaoke and a great singer as well. Been over to Ireland plenty of times with him. Done runners out of restaurants with him. He was marmite where dogs were concerned, you either loved him or hated him but you could never say he was dull. The dog game and the world has lost a great character. RIP Dave and deepen condolences to Bev and family.
