I can see where your coming from 'mbourne'
But in all fairness it's great to see the Belle Vue grader not punishing a young puppy in it's early races.
Also there has been quite a few greyhounds won in A2 grade and not moved up in the last few weeks. This must have something to do with a lack of top grade greyhounds on the strength at this time. [OR ARE THEY SAVING ON PRIZE-MONEY?]
In my opinion I think the time has come to let a greyhound win three A2s before putting it into A1 company that's unless they do a flying clock then the grader is forced to move them up..
There's only one A1 race again this week and that's not because there's a shortage of top grade greyhounds available because I know of a few who have once again been stood down this week by the grader and if this practice carries on then there connections will be forced to take them out on the open race circuit, which is OK every now and then but as an owner in truth most want to see there greyhounds in action on home soil.

ALSO another thing that's been happening over the last few weeks is that our trainers have taken out greyhounds racing on the Friday and Saturday cards for one reason or another and instead of bringing a suitable reserve the racing office have decided to go with a vacant traps...
Is this another ploy to save on prize-money or are we really that short on the strength at this time?

I SEE THE BELLE VUE RACING OFFICE TEAM MUST BE SHORT ON BISCUITS, TEA and COFFEE...
ANOTHER VACANT TRAP ON SATURDAY NIGHTS RACE CARD..A SAVING OF £30 AGAIN THIS WEK....
THE FINAL VERSION IS NOW PUBLIC AND FOR SOME UNKOWN REASON THEY COULD NOT FIND A REPLACEMENT FOR THE A1..
WHAT A LOAD OF BALLS
I KNOW OF TWO TOP GRADE GREYHOUNDS [FROM DIFFERANT KENNELS] THAT HAVE BEEN STOOD DOWN THIS WEEK...
P@SS POOR DO BV RO TEAM I.M.H.O.

Whats the point of purchasing an A1 dog when you are stood down twice in a month A9 dogs for me from now on . Still get a kennel bill racing or not ,the track should be encouraging people to buy quality animals

Madness. Too many vacant traps and no reasonable explanation why the track can't find a replacement.

Is it time bv got some handicap traps, this could be the answer to the shortage, why have two reserves on the card when they cannot be used.
