Fair point but with a little bit of thought and consideration im sure the r.o. could be more evenly handed, the thread was about whether bags is putting off existing owners replacing their dogs when they have finnished racing, I think the powers that be at BV should looking to the future because if owners keep leaving the game for whatever reason can only be bad news longterm for the sport. Maybe I have it wrong and people are happy with their dogs running on the bags, if this is the case it should be even more easier for the r.o. to lookafter the few moaning owners like myself.

Personally, i think ownership levels are at an all time low anyway many people are fed up with the treatment they receive generally. The intro of the further bags meeting as you say JC will mean owner numbers fall further. There are certainly better alternatives to run dogs at other bags tracks where prize money levels leave bv way behind

I know some owners who are not going to replace their dogs .Want to see them run at a night meeting it's also a social thing meet up with friends. Doesn't happen with bags no one there

we got our greyhound,Karlow Pearl in october,our first greyhound,with a view to having a few good night out. When she ran on a friday or saturday we would bring 8, 10 or 12 people all having a drink, a horse burger, tote bets etc. Since boxing day we have had 2 nights out, the rest have been on the bags. not knocking the owners competition but only two of us came to watch her in that,and we are on the bags again this sunday,our sixth bags in a row so its the bookies again this week like it was before october

In an ideal world it would have been much better if one of our meetings would have been in the evening likes the ones
at Nottingham [MON] and Sheffield [TUE] but sadly there not and I'm afraid Friday and Saturday nights at the ZOO don't suit everybody and that includes myself.
In recent weeks I have attended BAGS meetings at other tracks and the ones staged in the evening are well supported.
I can't see any changes with the BAGS fixtures for the forseable future at Belle Vue and I'm hoping that another
evening meeting will be introduced by the GRA management sooner rather than later. |

looks like Karlow Pearl is on sunday bags again,since dec 14th she has had 14 races and only 3 have been a friday or saturday although one was boxing day.Is it me or do these figures seem to be not fair.

>:Dcant agree with people more about the bags,12 months ago our syndicate had 8 dogs and 12 members we are now down to 2 dogs and 8 members. as other people have stated we purchased the dogs to go and watch and socialise,most of us work on site so bags for us is just losing interest.when these 2 dogs have finished i cant see at this present time that they will be getting replaced. another thing at zoo ,not enough variation the amount of dogs that dont stay 470 but we cant put at least 1 sprint as well as 590 and 670 per week  |
