To be honest Norma my dog has never seen Nottingham before until tonight. The winner has been around there a few times so that may of just cost us, but we won't know? As you say she's a good bitch so I'm not taking anything away from her, the best dog won on the night. Rolo has ran a top race and myself and Brian's team are made up. He hasn't ran over that distance for about 6 weeks.

Thank you so much mate. As you say he will improve with that run and I'm over the moon he got so close to winning. If he can get out of the traps a bit better that will help him a lot. But I'm not knocking him, he's ran a fantastic race.

Rolo makes his debut tonight in the A1. He lacks a bit of early which may cost him against these but he will be staying on well near the end. I'm sure he will run a good race.

Rolo was slow away again tonight and the early pace dogs were gone and you can't give that class to much start there all terrific dogs,But he stayed on so well to the pick up he was about 3 or 4 lengths clear so it shows 470m is far to short for him. I'm excited about his career over the longer distance.

A great run from Rolo today. He's always slow away but makes up a lot of ground. He picked the dogs off slowly but just couldn't get to the winner. He was beaten a length and a quarter in 28-09, well done lad.

Thank you Daydorail. I'm not sure if you've looked at his sisters but Fatice Cream is a open race stayers bitch, she ran in the heats of the St Ledger last night at Crayford. Humble times is his other sister and she's running over marathon distances so he's bred to stay the trip. Norma, would he qualify for the bags championship? He's only had 2 grading races and 1 open race at Nottingham,I thought you need 5 grading races to qualify? I know we are eyeing up the 680m open at the zoo on Scurry Cup final night for him.
