Thank you Daydorail. I'm not sure if you've looked at his sisters but Fatice Cream is a open race stayers bitch, she ran in the heats of the St Ledger last night at Crayford. Humble times is his other sister and she's running over marathon distances so he's bred to stay the trip. Norma, would he qualify for the bags championship? He's only had 2 grading races and 1 open race at Nottingham,I thought you need 5 grading races to qualify? I know we are eyeing up the 680m open at the zoo on Scurry Cup final night for him. HAVE NO FEAR 'pete2012' TEAM THOMPSON WILL HAVE 'ROLLO' SORTED IN TIME FOR THE COMP.... TO be eligible for the competition each greyhound, at closing time for entries, must have completed five graded races at its attached track.
Greyhounds that have won no more than one open race in the UK by the start of the competition, up until Finals Day on 23 December, are eligible for inclusion.
Any greyhound who at the start of the competition has won one open, but goes on to win another open during the Track Championship, will be ineligible...

Rolo ran another fantastic race. He would never of got to the winner which won very well but I was pleased to see him finish very well from where he was, He was still last at the 3rd bend and as they dogs come into the home straight he flew home to finish 2nd. He is crying out for 6 bends so hopefully we can find something for him.

If he's in the team James? I really don't know if he will qualify because as you know he's running Wednesday but he needs another race before the Inter track starts.

I wish he could start like he did today every week. What a great race Rolo ran today. To be honest I still think the A1 dogs are a bit sharp for him because he's a stayer as everyone knows but I was over the moon today. Once Rolo was one of the joint leaders at the 3rd bend I knew not many dogs would out stay him. Once in the home straight he pulled away. He deserves this win he's been running so well in defeat. Well done son.

I'm so pleased Rolo has been chosen to represent Belle Vue on Tuesday at Sheffield over the 660m. That's the sort of distance he needs and it's an honour to represent my track. I really hope he runs to the top of his game, if he does he won't be far away. Brian and his team will have him ready to go. Thank you Belle Vue.

Another top 3 finish for Rolo tonight in a top A1 race. Trap 5 is new to him so that didn't really do him any favours, He was slow away this time which is normally his way and down the back straight he was 2 or 3 lengths behind the pack, But he kicked into gear around the last 2 bends finishing 3rd running on like a train. I'm so pleased he's come off ok and Tuesday at Sheffield is his next stop over 660m which is a lot better for him.
