Some very good greyhounds set to trial before racing down at Colwick Park next Monday.
I would imagine 'AMBROSE' will be more than capable of clocking 29.60 / 29.70 over the 500m trip in his intended solo trial.
Plus there are some Eclipse trial stakes on the race card so that will give a good guide-line.
Good Luck with 'AMBROSE' in this years Eclipse.

Nottingham's Carling Eclipse closes to entries on ThursdayDroopys Nadal quickest in Eclipse warm-ups at Nottingham.....DROOPYS NADAL was fastest of four Carling Eclipse trial stakes winners over 500m at Nottingham on Monday with the start of the Category One event just a week away, writes Jonathan Kay.
Angela Harrison’s dog evoked memories of his first round Derby success over the course and distance in May as he made all to beat a staying-on Ballymac Diego by six and a half lengths in 29.47sec (+40).
Emma Richards’ Fitenwell had earlier made it nine wins in his last ten starts with a front-running success of his own as he beat Ballymac Osby by just over two lengths in 29.55sec.
Phil Simmonds’ Waikiki Lad justified strong support in the finale as he held off Honour Turbo by three-parts of a length in 29.76sec with slow-starting favourite Droooys Verve the same distance back in third.
Strides Farran went from the front to win the first of the evening’s trial stakes in 29.91sec for Jim Hayton with gamble-of-the-race Kentish Prince third after a troubled run.
In trials before racing Lynn Cook’s Plaza Lep was fastest over the Eclipse 500m when posting 29.40sec (+30) in a solo.
Bev Heaton’s Northern Flat champion Ballymac Ambrose clocked 29.47sec while other workouts of note came from Pat Rosney’s duo of Bower Luke (29.57sec) and kennelmate Newinn Banger (29.64sec).
Chris Akers’s long-absent Martinstown Band was the standard-setter over 305m with an encouraging 17.72sec (+20) spin.
*The £6,000 Carling Eclipse closes to entries at 11am on Thursday with first round heats next Monday.
