OUTLOOK FOR THE REST OF 2019 DOWN AT THE ZOO..
WELL THEN THE ZOO IS STILL UP AND RUNNING. DESPITE WHAT A LOT OF DOOM AND GLOOMER'S WERE PREDICTING SOME 2/3 YEARS AGO.
TO BE HONEST NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED DOWN AT THE TRACK.
NOW THEN LOOKING AHEAD FOR THE REST OF THIS YEAR.
THE FIRST 3 MONTHS ARE ALMOST DONE AND DUSTED AND IN MY OPINION WHAT'S NEEDED NOW IS A FOURTH MEETING DOWN AT THE TRACK AND HOPEFULLY ON A FRIDAY NIGHT.
ALONG WITH IT WE ALSO NEED TO SEE SOME OPEN RACE ACTION RETURNING TO OUR TRACK.
THE PRIZE-MONEY SITUATION UNDER THE GRA MANAGEMENT IS NEVER GOING TO CHANGE AND THAT'S WHY WE NEED SPONSORSHIP.
SO DESPITE ALL THE THINGS THAT ARE GOING ON WITH THE OWNERS OF THE STADIUM CROWN OILS GREYHOUND RACING IS ALIVE AND KICKING DOWN AT THE ZOO JUST LIKE IT HAS BEEN SINCE 1926 AND LONG MAY IT CONTINUE...

Track crying out for an extra meeting, a Thursday open/Graded would probs do the job. Far too many greyhounds being left off each week. Canβt see it happening though.

SORRY to pee on your chips.however the submission for planning goes in during April.it was deferred until then. until that's heard there's no feeling of security.for continuous racing. but like all others, we are ever hopeful.

No incentive to buy dogs to go on belle vue as the prize money so poor.

This does effect every trainer across the board.

if that is the case, is it lazy grading or too many dog`s in similar grades..does anybody know the dog strenth that is avaliable to the ro, I was told just over 200 but not sure, then take away resters in season, injured, it would be interesting to know a rough figure..

I would imagine the strength is around the 300/325 mark.
I'm convinced we need more weekly races if we can't get a fourth meeting then we need to increase the cards what we have at this time.
