60 per cent lol.no bookmakers left at that rate.no wonder they lasted so long ripping the punters of betting at over 150 per cent.

THE GOOD OLD DAYS WELL THE ONES I ONCE KNEW MEANT YOU DOING THE BOOKIES. ROBBING THE bookies by way of racing seemed all fair in love and war. once upon a time at Oldham the racing manager was on his way home. he stopped on red at the lights and someone pinged open his boot and snatched all the racing cards for the dog track. this meant no one knew the right form for dogs as it had all been stolen. so we got started, there was a schoolteacher with a fawn dog .he paid decent money for it at the time £600.he was ripped of. but we had a ringer.[it eventually broke the track record at oldham]it used to be of about six yards start. or very low races. well, what a time we had .we bet it so often so much it stunk. and the original seller asked if he'd sell back.of course £3000 boy was he sick.this dog I bought of a Scottish bookmaker and a very good dog he was.a lot of you knew the dog. happy memories

4/1 the field in a 8 dog race, some over round percentage that. I have been told that the above photo was taken at a charity night held where 100% of the profits went to guide dogs.
