THE odds for the 2023 Super League season have been revealed and there are a few surprising movers as Super League sponsors Betfred reveal their odds. Out in front at 9/4 are reigning champions St Helens who will be aiming for a fifth successive Super League title under new head coach Paul Wellens.
Not far behind are the Wigan Warriors who went out in the play-off semi-finals to the Leeds Rhinos, but Matt Peetโs men did win the Challenge Cup. Now they are 7/2 to back that up with a Grand Final win in 2023.
Catalans Dragons are 7/1 in third, but Warrington Wolves โ which may surprise some considering their dreadful 2022 season โ are placed in fourth with odds of 8/1.
Here are the odds in full:
St Helens 9/4 Wigan Warriors 7/2 Catalans Dragons 7/1 Warrington Wolves 8/1 Leeds Rhinos 8/1 Huddersfield Giants 10/1 Castleford Tigers 12/1 Hull FC 12/1 Salford Red Devils 25/1 Leigh Leopards 33/1 Hull KR 50/1 Wakefield Trinity 100/1

KRISNAN INU RETURNS TO SALFORD RED DEVILS AS ASSISTANT COACH by Harry Siddall | Nov 4, 2022Salford Red Devils are delighted to welcome former winger, Krisnan Inu back to the Club in his first off-the-field role as Assistant Coach.
The 35-year-old will work closely with Paul Rowley and Kurt Haggerty to manage and develop a playing squad already packed with talent. Inu brings years of playing experience from both sides of the world and will no doubt be hugely beneficial to our mixture of established names and young talent.
During his three-year stay at the AJ Bell Stadium, Inu made 53 appearances for the Club, scoring 24 tries and converting 195 goals. His trusty right boot was involved in so many memorable moments โ including the 2019 Betfred Super League Grand Final and 2020 Challenge Cup final.
Speaking after returning to the Club, Inu said: โIโm excited to be coming home and joining the staff in a role I wasnโt expecting to come into.
โIโm grateful and proud to be helping the team reach their goals and get them to where they deserve to be โ and thatโs in the top six. I canโt wait for the challenges ahead and Iโm looking forward to what the next few seasons bring.โ
Head Coach, Paul Rowley added: โItโs really pleasing that Kris has decided to join us on the coaching staff. His knowledge of the game is first class and he is respected throughout the game on both sides of the world.
โKris has had a fantastic playing career and made a positive impact at each club heโs represented โ one of those, of course, being Salford.
โWith that in mind, I not only welcome an intelligent and experienced rugby guy, but more importantly a trusted friend who I am looking forward to helping him on the next phase of his rugby journey.โ
Director of Rugby and Operations, Ian Blease also said: โWeโre delighted to welcome Krisnan back to the Club in his first off-the-field venture as Assistant Coach. He has a big personality, is a positive human and will be a strong influence around the group and club.
โHe was a superb player for us and the fact he represented Salford in the 2019 Super League Grand Final and 2020 Challenge Cup final means he has copious amounts of valuable experience he can bring to the squad โ including five years in the NRL.โ
โIโm look forward to seeing how he can develop and add the already blossoming dynamic Paul Rowleyโs team have created behind the scenes. โ
