With a little over 100 days to go until the return of the Betfred Super League, Salford Red Devilsโ full fixture schedule for the 2023 Betfred Super League season has been released.
The regular season in 2023 will see each team will play 27 fixtures โ 13 home and 13 away, plus Magic Weekend at St Jamesโ Park, Newcastle.
To start the season, live on Sky Sports, the Red Devils travel the promoted and newly re-named Leigh Leopards for their first game back in Super League. We will then, again, be back on Sky Sports for our return to the AJ Bell Stadium against Hull KR in Round 2.
Channel 4 will again broadcast 10 games free-to-air in 2023 and Salfordโs trip to reigning champions, St Helens in Round 12 will be shown on Saturday 13th May.
Easter Weekend is set for a bumper round of fixtures as Rivals Round takes over once again, where for the first ever time, all six games will be live on Sky Sports. That means another trip to Leigh Sports Village to take on the Leopards in Round 8.
Magic Weekend returns to St Jamesโ Park, with Salford to kick-off the festival of rugby league with a clash against Hull KR on June 3rd.
Thereโs so much to look forward to across 2023, so why not be a part of the magic?

Salford Red Devils are delighted to announce the signing of Ben Hellewell from Featherstone Rovers on a one-year deal.
The 30-year-old was brought into the club on a two-week loan during the 2022 season and definitely impressed with his performances in the back-row.
He was part of the squad that defeated Catalan Dragons at home and Toulouse Olympique away โ two results which proved crucial in our run to the play-offs. He was quickly recalled by Featherstone, but the Red Devils have now secured their man on a permanent basis.
Reacting to his move, Hellewell said: โIโm delighted to sign for Salford. I was lucky enough to play two games on loan last year and from the first day of training, I saw how close-knit the players were.
โPlaying in them two games opened my eyes to how skilful and hardworking the players are at the club, and thatโs been passed down from the coaching staff. It does help that Iโm close friends with some of the players โ having played with them at previous clubs โ so them and the other lads were very welcoming.
โI was coached by Haggy at Leigh, so I knew how good he was, and his partnership with Rowls will always get the best out of players not only on the field, but off it too.
โLast season they were unlucky to fall short of the Grand Final, but hopefully this season we can go one better and get some silverware โ and I canโt wait to be a part of that. Iโm looking forward to getting back into training and ripping in with the lads.โHead Coach, Paul Rowley added: โIโm really pleased to welcome Ben to Salford. Having joined us for a month earlier this year, Benโs durability and versatility proved invaluable.
โThe staff, players and myself enjoyed the passion and commitment he showed to the group and look forward to him being back.โ
Director of Rugby and Operations, Ian Blease also said: โIโm really happy weโve been able to secure Benโs services on a permanent basis.
โHeโs a player who massively impressed us during his two-week loan spell in 2022 and will bring not just quality to the back-row, but an incredible work ethic โ a vital attribute of any player in Paul Rowleyโs squad. We are looking forward to welcoming Ben and getting to work ahead of 2023.โ

Salford Red Devils are delighted to welcome Ellis Longstaff to the Club from Warrington Wolves on a one-year loan.
The 20-year-old made his Betfred Super League debut against Hull FC in 2020 and has since progressed at a rapid rate. Operating in the back-row, his talent was quickly recognised by the England Knights, where he made his debut at just 19 years of age.
He also enjoyed a short loan spell at FC last season, where he scored an impressive seven tries in just 10 Super League appearances.
Longstaff will add more energy and quality to an already high-quality second row. Kallum Watkins has been a standout performer, but the additions of Ben Hellewell and Andrew Dixon have further reinforced that position ahead of 2023.
Upon completion of the loan deal, Longstaff said: โIโm over the moon to sign at Salford for the year on loan.
โIโm really looking forward to getting in and meeting all the boys and staff and canโt wait to rip in. I also canโt wait to get out there in front of the fans and show what I can bring to the side!โ
Head Coach, Paul Rowley added: โEllis is a fantastic addition to our team. Heโs a player with lots of energy and ambition.
โHis new team mates and the staff are looking forward to him joining our group, and as a current England Knight, he is clearly a talented and hard working player who is driven to succeed โ which makes him a perfect fit for our club.โ
Director of Rugby and Operations, Ian Blease said: โItโs really exciting that weโve secured Ellis on loan for the next 12 months.
As a current England Knight, heโs already showcased an abundance of talent at such a young age and heโll have the ability to develop even further with the coaching team and the current playing squad. I look forward to seeing what he can produce for the Red Devils next season!โ
Ellis is available for sponsorship in 2023 and you can contact hannah.edge@salfordreddevils.net for more information.

โWhen I signed my last contract, I mentioned how important the Club is to me and my family. Iโm very grateful for how supportive Rads and his staff have been.
โI will have a game against Salford on Sunday 5th February at the DW Stadium. To have the game at home is great and I hope all our fans get behind it. Itโs going to be a special year.
โIโm very grateful for the committee Iโve got in place. Theyโll be the backbone of this year being successful. My first job is to play well for Wigan. Iโll rip in when I get back in pre-season and Iโm hoping it will be a very successful year.
โI hope the fans buy into it; I really appreciate the support. I was a fan before I started playing so I know what itโs like. A massive thank you to all my old teammates, staff and coaches โ back in my amateur days too. My wife Ria has been on the journey with me. Iโm hoping this season is going to be great.โ
