Can someone, anyone, explain something for me. I was at the track tonight to back Slippery Jimmy, 5 of the 6 bookies were offering 6/4 & 1 was offering only 5/4. These odds did NOT budge so I took the 6/4. I have just arrived home and the SP was 2/1 how is that possible? To my Knowledge NONE of the bookies were offering 2/1?

We were offering 2/1 for quite a while. Dog opened 7/4, then was backed in to 6/4. Then money came for the 3 which caused it to drift back out to 2/1. For a dog to return 2/1, it must have been on offer on at least 2 boards.
