was 3 times they tried to fix it , thankfully all of the dogs in race 9 came off sound after the hare abruptly come to a halt at the turn to the first.

should of seen bob Rowe get dropped by the cable at 1st bend, funny as ******, where's you tube when u need it, joking apart, lads do a good job, but shouldnt take 1-1/2 to change cable.

Today, fast going for BAGS. Bev and Paulo have three timers.

Race 3 Grade A6 Time 28.24
Last of the Line, 2s to 7/4, trapped well with the black sheet and was forced to check when handy at the first bend. Well clear of the others Line paced into the lead at the third bend and won well.

Race 4 Grade A5 Time 28.54
Sugar Loaf, 7/2 to 3s, got off the mark here despite missing the break and being forced to check at the bend. She turned in fourth place with plenty of daylight between her and the three dogs contesting the lead up front. This latter point effectively played into her hands when her stamina came into the play on the run in and she won going away.

Race 5 Grade A2 Time 28.13
Tyrur Babylon's chance went at traps where he stumbled. He did show nice pace to the third but kept on at one pace after and finished third. He was backed from 3sto 5/2.

Race 8 Grade A1 Time 27.67
Jacksaledge, supported by the Offices from 2s to 7/4, held second to halfway and was forced to check badly at the third when clearly beaten. He finished fourth.

Race 9 Grade A3 Time 28.31
Sustained Office support for Lord Montague, 11/4 to 7/4, who did the hard part leading the bend but inexplicably failed to do the easy part and stay in front to the line . He was beaten a sh.

Race 10 Grade A2 Time 27.96
Bee Bees Tiger, backed by the Offices from 3s to 5/2, ran well for nothing here. Missing the break, he turned in third place before running on well to only be beaten a sh by the quick starting winner.

Race 11 Grade A3 Time 27.95
Kitty Memory, 5/2 to 9/4, had few excuses here when finishing a well beaten fourth. She failed to make much progress after turning in fourth place. The third bend crowd didn't cost her much.

Race 13 Grade A4 Time 28.31
Paving Schedule, 5/2 to 9/4, led from the second bend to the run in finding two opponents much too strong for him. He's still not his best yet.

Race 1 Grade A9 Time 28.93
Darver Lily, 7/4 to 11/4, got off the mark here following a slow start. She paced up into third place at the bend and made just enough progress to be in second place between bends three and four when the leader ran very wide presenting Lily with the win. Manchester Flash, 12s to 10s, finished last following a first bend biff.

Race 2 Grade A5 Time 28.24
Kitchen Talk, 2s to 5/4, finished a creditable second here behind a bit of a tartar who won in a fast time. Talk turned in fourth place following a bump at the first which cost him a couple of lengths. He moved into second place after showing good pace to the third but had no answer when the winner pressed the accelerator on the run in.

Race 3 Grade A8 Time 28.71
Kersal Monet, 11/10 to evens, is clearly getting through the crossword much quicker judging by her fast start here (a missed break to Monet IS a fast start ). She led the bend and won comfortably leaving Capitano Roberto with the problem of how to box her up in the Final.

Race 4 Grade A7 Time 28.80
Jogon Katie, 6/4 to evens, took an early lead until bumped between bends three and four. She finished last.

Race 5 Grade A8 Time 28.86
Where have we heard 'its only got to trap to win' before? Backed from a short 10/11 to a very short 4/7 the inexperienced Jakes Jewel was badly away and finished last.

Race 6 Grade S4 Time 36.56
Mist Over Pendle, 7/4 to 5/4, led from the first to the line but was far from impressive and underlined how out of form she is at the moment.

Race 7 Grade A6 Time 28.66
Jacks Economy, 3s to 5/4, led the bend but moved off at the second bend crowding his closest rival Dinn Re Bug, 4s to 3s, in the process. This manoeuvre allowed the winner through into the lead at the second and she does not stop. Jacks finished a moderate second. Bug was forced to check at the third and finished last.

Race 8 Grade A3 Time 28.66
A race reminiscent of the days of Doctor Frank Watson with Roscahill Champ, 3s to 7/4, leaving traps very slowly and then suffering a biff at the second bend which saw him back in last place with a tremendous amount to do. He then ran on strong to lead on the run in for an amazing win.

Race 9 Grade S3 Time 35.77
Ballinaglera Lad, 5/4 to 11/10 was dropped to S3 here but after trapping well and soon leading recorded an S1 time!

Race 10 Grade A5 Time 28.49
Rhoden Flicker, 4/5 to 4/6, trapped best and made all though she wasn't to impressive given her price with the stripes on the premises with her at the third bend. Says Your Man, 6s to 5s, turned fourth after missing the second bend aggro on the rails and stayed there to the line.

Race 11 Grade A2 Time 28.11
Ardera Brett, 4s to 3s, finished a solid third staying on well after turning third dog. Jamestown Duke, 2s to 11/8, finished an anonymous fourth following a slow start.

Race 12 Grade A1 Time 28.00
The winner trapped clear and it was left to the Eric dog, 3s to 9/4, to turn in second place following a missed break. He failed to find much and relegated to fourth on the run in. He's clearly not firing at the moment.

Tonight, quick going. The heating is on full in the main Grandstand suggesting that the GRA have money to burn or at least pour down the drain . Bev and Joy have three timers.

Race 1 Grade A9 Time 29.10
Carneys Rumble, 3s to 9/4, led on the run up to near the line. A head defeat is the closest he's come to a win so far.

Race 3 Grade A8 Time 29.00
A race where most of the contestants started slowly was sure to suit the serial slow starting Volcanic Fantasy, 2s to 11/8. He was a handy third at halfway but had to settle for second when the leader at the third kicked on.

Race 4 Grade A7 Time 28.74
Tudor Tammy, 7/4 to evens, trapped fast and made all.

Race 5 Grade A2 Time 27.99
Sinatra Tim, 7/2 to 5/2, turned in second place despite a slow start and looked the likely winner when handy at the third. However, the leader ran game and Tim drifted off wide at the fourth bend surrendering rather tamely and finishing fourth. Jane Anns Flyer, 2s to 7/4, was handy at the first before being badly crowded between bends one and two. She finished last.

Race 6 Grade A6 Time 28.50
Chesters Nikita, 2s to 6/4, turned second and led between bends three and four looking the probable winner. However, although she did win she did have a touch of good fortune when the runner up decided to attack her rather than the line. There was much support for Goosey Lucy who can be relied on to produce a very fast run about once in every six months. Backed from 10s to 7/2 her supporters clearly thought that this was the night but were proved wrong. Despite a quick start she showed little to the bend and was back in the rear by the second bend which is where she stayed.

Race 8 Grade S1 Time 35.41
Round Woman, 11/10 to 8/11, turned second behind a quick starting leader with Graigues Rolla, 8s to 6s, back in third. She improved slightly near the fifth but Rolla stood on her between bends five and six ruining both their chances with Woman finishing last and Rolla fifth. This wasn't the run expected by her supporters who will surely be asking themselves why she struggled to get away from Rolla a dog who has never looked like winning S1 and its doubtful whether she would have got to the winner had she not been trodden on. Swift Crown, backed at 5/2, turned in fourth place following a first bend crowd and he too was making no headway at the fifth though he did benefit from the trouble finishing second.

Race 9 Grade A2 Time 28.26
The in form Active Quest, 6s to 9/2, trapped best and made all. Up Granard, 5/2 to 7/4, got a bumpy ride to the bend where he was crowded before finishing fourth.

Race 10 Grade A4 Time 28.29
Tyrur Nani, 6s to 5s, trapped best and made all. Bourne a Legend, 4s to 7/2, took up second place from the second bend but was brought down at the third.

Race 11 Grade A1 Time 28.21
The Big I Am, 6s to 9/2, only had the pace to turn in fourth place and was crowded at the third bend. He finished fourth.

Race 12 Grade E1 Time 41.29
Jack Relax, 7/4 to evens, trapped well with the white sheet but the winner had more early and rubbed Jack off at the bend. Jack turned in third place making no signifacant move to improve his position and was run into fourth lose to the line.

Race 3 Grade A5 Time 28.25
Supporters of Derrane Slippy, 9/2 to 3s, saw him trap well and quickly lead but only as far as the third bend where the winner flew past for an easy win . Slippy finished a clear second.

Race 4 Grade A4 Time 28.71
Following a slow start Forza Keldon, 11/4 to 5/2, showed excellent early to lead the bend but only as far as the fourth bend and he settled for second place.

Race 5 Grade A5 Time 28.66
It appeared as though Michaelangelo provided Rusheen Flight with a map and compass to take with him on his travels today and it paid off. Backed from 5/2 to 2s, he started slowly and chose a m/wide route round the first two bends which enabled him to get a solo and turn in second place. He had too much power for the leader and led at the third before pulling clear.

Race 6 Grade A3 Time 28.38
Darwen Lad, 5/2 to 13/8, trapped best but found the winner on his shoulder at the bend. Said dog took up the running at halfway and Lad was still handy at the third when crowded. He kept on well for third place.

Race 7 Grade A6 Time 28.72
Kilkenny Henry, 4s to 3s, was very quick away and led until the second bend. He was handy at the third and kept on to hold second place to the line.

Race 9 Grade A2 Time 28.30
Jack of Diamonds, 5s to 9/2, turned second after enjoying a solo at the first two bends. He looked a danger when making progress at the third and then ruined his hard work by veering off wide between bends three and four. He finished third. Springwell Trixie, 4s to 7/2, showed decent early after missing the break but a nudge at the second and then a crowd at halfway ruined her chance and she finished fourth.

Race 10 Grade A1 Time 27.96
Datona Duke, 3s to 9/4, trapped well and showed impressive early foot to lead but only as far as the second bend where the equally quick starting winner took a lead he held to the line with Duke finishing second.

Race 11 Grade A4 Time 28.63
Baby Blue Hawk, 2s to 6/4, made a slow start and arrived at the bend in the rear at which point he took a m/wide route round. He was back in last place at the second before making progress to the third and then staying on to finish a reasonably close fourth.

Race 12 Grade A2 Time 28.48
Bowtime Jack, 7/2 to 2s, couldn't shake off the orange sheet to the corner and suffered a bump at the bend. He turned in fourth place but found the white sheeted stayer on his inside and he couldn't shake of said dog. He was crowded between bends three and four and finished third.
